The family announces with great sorrow his death on Saturday April 2, 2016 at the Timmins and District Hospital at the age of 84. He is survived by his wife Eleanore (nee-Jacques), his children Cindy O’Sullivan (Max Levasseur), Pam Clair (Michael), Christine Cummings, Patty-Sue Oliver (Tony) and Gordie Warner (Tracey); his grandchildren Liam O’Sullivan (Lee-Ann), Caitlyn O’Sullivan, Jason, Charles and Nicholas Clair, Kyla and Kealey Cummings, Riley and Aleah Oliver and Makenna Warner and by two great-grandchildren Bannon and Locklan Riva-O’Sullivan. He was predeceased by his parents Charles and Vera Warner. Gordon was an avid all around sportsman. He was a member of the Moneta Rec., the Masonic Lodge and of the Association Canadian Travelers. In honor of Gord’s life a funeral service will be held on Thursday April 7, 2016 at 11am in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Cindy Desilets officiating. Interment will follow at Timmins Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday evening from 7-9 pm at LESSARD-STEPHENS Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers remembrance donations to the Timmins Sports Heritage Hall of Fame (cheque payable to the City of Timmins) would be greatly appreciated.
