He was well known for his carpentry skills and was always available to lend a helping hand. He loved music (played the guitar, accordion and harmonica) and watching his grandsons play hockey. He had a passion for hunting, and fishing. Aimé will always be remembered as a great storyteller. He worked as an orderly at St Mary's Hospital (gramma was a candy striper). He was a miner and line cutter for Hydro. He loved his furry companion Chico; they were inseparable.

The family would like to say a special thank you to the Emergency/Med B/Hopsice Nurses, Dr. Griffiths, Dr. Samson and Dr. Wilson, as well as a special thank you to his family Doctor, Dr. Durepos.

Respecting his wishes, cremation will take place. The family will receive friends on Friday, April 21, 2023, from 12pm (noon) to 1pm at LESSARD-STEPHENS Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 1pm, with a reception to follow. Remembrance donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or Diabetes Canada would be greatly appreciated.
