1941-2022
The family announces with sorrow his death on Wednesday February 2, 2022 at the age of 80.
Predeceased by his loving wife Carol, his stepdaughter Diane, his parents Victor and Lina, and his sister Terry.
Dear father of Chris, Kelly King (Wayne) and Robert. Sadly missed by his grandchildren Keith, Jessica, Steven, Katie and Samantha. Dear brother of Zab Sargalis (Lionel), Jacques (Lynn), Noël (Paulette), Sue Amendola (Denis), brother-in-law of John Vallière, Allan McColeman (Lynn), Kenneth McColeman, and Judy Lemire (Denis).
Fred was proud of his career as an underground miner in Uranium City and Elliot Lake. On his return to Timmins, Fred drove for A1 Taxi.
The family wishes to thank the staff at the Timmins and District Hospital – Long Term Care for their support and care.
Remembrance donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
Cremation will take place. A memorial to celebrate Fred’s life is planned for a later date. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to LESSARD-STEPHENS FUNERAL HOME.
