Obituary for Celine Sauvageau (Gamache)

It is with great sadness that the family announces her passing on Sunday January 23, 2022 at the Golden Manor, at the age of 76 years, after a lengthy battle with Alzheimer’s. She leaves behind her caring husband Jean-Guy; her siblings Yvon (Fleurette), Pierre, Monique, Marie-Anne and Don. Predeceased by her parents Léo and Gisele Gamache; her parents-in-law Florient and Aurore Sauvageau, as well as her brothers and sisters-in-law, Marion, Rejean, Raynald, Desneiges, Richard, Gaetan and Norman. She also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews of both families.

Celine was born and raised in Timmins. She loved having coffee with their friends at the Timmins Square, as well as going to the bingo with her two sisters (3 amigos). In her later years, her greatest joy was being part of the choral of La Ronde. She was always happy, kind and loved being around family, especially children. She truly cared for all of her nieces and nephews.

Thank you for all who cared for her at the Golden Manor, including Dr. Auger.
