Obituary for David Ferguson
The family announces with sorrow his sudden passing on Thursday, August 18, 2022 at the age of 43 years old. David leaves behind his cherished daughter Katrina Ferguson (Chris Fortier). Loving son of Joanne Cormier (Rick Racicot) and the late Yvon (Anita) Ferguson. He also leaves behind his beloved grandson Braxton Ferguson, his brother Mike Ferguson, his sister Tanya (Kevin), his nieces Phoenix, Mariah, and Jade, and his nephew Conrad. He is also survived by Katrina’s mother, Jennifer. Dave will be sadly missed by many aunts, uncles, and cousins. He is predeceased by his grandparents Leonard and Helen Cormier as well as Bert and Evelyne Ferguson.
David was an avid outdoorsman who had a passion for camping, fishing, and hunting. He loved growing flower and vegetable gardens; he enjoyed watching movies and was a MasterChef in the kitchen. As a good brother and an all-around great person, David was a jokester. A wonderful family man, he lived for his baby girl Katrina and he loved spending time with his beloved grandson Braxton.
As per the family’s request, there will be no visitation and no funeral. The family will hold a celebration of life at a later date. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted with LESSARD-STEPHENS FUNERAL HOME. Remembrance donations to the Seizure and Brain Injury Centre would be greatly appreciated.
