1989-2022
It is with great sadness and broken hearts that the family announces the passing of David Venneri on Tuesday, November 29th, 2022. David fiercely lost his battle to addiction at the young age of 33. David was born February 15, 1989 in Haiti, and adopted into a loving family in Timmins, ON. He was welcomed by his mother, Francine Desrochers (Roger) and father, Val Venneri (Michelle). He was a dear sibling to his older brother Jason (Sydney), his baby sister Stephanie (Finn) and long time friend Ashley and her daughter Ameria. He will be truly missed by so many aunts, uncles, cousins, his precious niece Hannah and friends. He is predeceased by grandparents Gisele Martineau, Giovanni Venneri and Concetta Venneri.
David had an infectious smile that could light up any room. The sound of his laugh is something that will live on as a beautiful memory for all that were lucky enough to hear it. He was known for his sensitive heart and a gentle loving spirit. David was a go-getter, he could effortlessly play any sport, and loved to perform and dance to every style of music.
There will be a small, private family gathering in his honor. The family would like to thank the Drs and nurses at Timmins and District Hospital in both the Emergency and ICU wards for their kindness and compassion, specifically Dr Champion and Dr Levac as well as Constable Bill Martin with TPS for going over and above in our time of need.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations would be appreciated and welcomed in his honour to either “Hope for Haiti Foundation", a cause very dear to his heart or to the Anti-Hunger Coalition.
