It is with great sorrow that the family announces the passing of Elva on Thursday, September 22, 2022, at the Timmins and District Hospital at the age of 90 years. Beloved wife of 69 years to Bob Jones. Loving mother of Debbie Lanthier (Jim), Cathie Jones (Bill Stewart) and Jimmie Jones (France). Cherished grandmother of Melissa, Veronica, Amanda, Jennifer, and great-grandmother to 5 great-grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by her sister Marlene Burton. Elva is predeceased by her parents Fred and Ruby Gold and by her brothers Melvin and Ron Gold.
