Obituary for Faith Anne Campbell

CAMPBELL, Faith Anne
1931 – 2022

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Faith Anne Campbell, only seven days before her 91st birthday. Faith left us to be with her beloved son, David Campbell, her mother, Dorothy Campbell, and her father, John Campbell. She was also predeceased by her brother Jim Campbell (Hilda), her sisters Phyllis Lougheed (Carl), Helen Shannon (Orrie), Mary Elliott (Robert), and Lou Vacchino, her companion for 30 years.

She is lovingly remembered by her brother, Peter Campbell (Virginia), her daughters, Sharon Scott (George) and Lynne Poirier, daughter-in-law Heather Crees, and close family friend and “adopted son” Philip Scott. Faith was blessed to have six beautiful grandchildren and six great-grandchildren: granddaughters Tarra Popple (Jon), with Eva, Brooklyn and Scott; Karla Scott (Pete Ouellet), with Alex and Rya; Samantha Scott (Troy Duncan), with Cole; and grandsons Sebastian Campbell, Thomas Campbell, and Jason Moore. She will also be dearly missed by many nieces, nephews, close friends, and acquaintances.

Faith had been a member of Porcupine General Hospital, St. Mary’s Hospital, and Golden Manor auxiliaries. She was also a member of the Hollinger and Spruce Needles Golf Clubs and an avid skier at Porcupine Ski Runners. Throughout her life, she worked at St. Mary’s School of Nursing and then transitioned to Northern College, where she became Chief Librarian. She was always young at heart, very independent, and a lady with class! Faith left us on her own terms just as she had lived her long and active life!

Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 28, 2022 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. at LESSARD-STEPHENS Funeral Home. Remembrance donations to a charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated. Online condolences can be made at www.lessardstephens.com
