Passed away peacefully at home with her loving husband by her side on Wednesday October 26, 2022, after dealing with a lengthy illness. She was predeceased by her parents Hellar and Elsie Krawchuk, her parents-in-law Leo and Muriel McFarlane, and her sister-in-law Gail Gaitskell. She is survived by her brother Garry (Bernie) Krawchuk, her brothers-in-law Neil (Mary) McFarlane and Brian (Vivian) McFarlane, her sister-in-law Dawn Gauley, and by numerous nieces and nephews. Gail graduated on the dean’s list at Mohawk College. She worked as a medical secretary for CRTC and later was an administrative consultant, where she organized and scribed meetings for a variety of organizations.

She loved her dogs, the outdoors, berry picking, hiking, swimming and most of all, fishing. Gail loved to spend hours on the water fishing for walleye or rainbow trout, which she excelled at. She was a fantastic cook who loved making traditional Ukrainian recipes. She was generous, fun loving and young spirited. She will be sadly missed by her husband. “Gail, until we meet again. In respecting her wishes, a private funeral service will be held at LESSARD-STEPHENS Funeral Home Chapel. Interment to follow at Timmins Memorial Cemetery. Remembrance donations to the Timmins Humane Society would be greatly appreciated.
