Obituary for Gerry Boissonneault
The family announces with great sorrow his death on Wednesday April 12, 2023 at the Timmins and District Hospital at the age of 85.
Predeceased by his first wife Jessie (nee Frankovich).
Beloved husband of Irene Beaudoin. He will be missed by his brother John (Louise) Boissonneault, his brothers-in-law Wilko (Peggy) Frankovich and Ron Rhude, his nieces and nephews Lise Currie (Robert) and Marc Boissonneault (Line), Heather (Daniel Duguay), and Kathryn (Neil Milner), his great-nephews William and Patrick Milner, John and Thomas Currie, Alexandre Boissonneault and his great-niece Eve Boissonneault, his step-children Tina, John, Cindy and Jennifer, as well as his step-grandchildren and the Beaudoin family.
Predeceased by his parents Jean-Pierre and Genevieve Boissonneault and his sister Louise Boissonneault.
Gerry was an avid independent trucker. He also worked at Chenier Motors and Guiho Trucking. He enjoyed spending time at his camp, driving his tractor and his boat.
Funeral service will be held on Tuesday April 18, 2023 at 1 p.m. in the funeral home chapel, which will be livestreamed on the funeral home Facebook page To access the livestream, CLICK HERE 5 minutes prior to the service. Interment at the Timmins Memorial Cemetery will follow. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at LESSARD-STEPHENS Funeral Home. Remembrance donations to the Timmins and District Hospital Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
