Obituary for Harvey Ralph Mitton
Harvey passed away peacefully with his family by his side at the Timmins and District Hospital Hospice on Monday March 27, 2023 in his 89th year.
Beloved husband to Irene Mitton (Southcott) and loved father to Deborah Stapley (Dan) and late Derrick Mitton (2015) (Annette). Loved Poppa to Jennifer Galloway (Mike), David and Deanna Mitton, Andrew Stapley (Alyssa), Patty Raymond (Alex) and Great-Grandfather to Kemika. Brother to Phyllis Pancel (late Joe). Predeceased by his parents Ralph Mitton and Evelyn Miller. Uncle to many nieces and nephews.
Harvey worked for many years at Kidd Creek Met Site as an accountant. He loved spending time at his cottage on Papakomeka Lake and volunteering at the South Porcupine Food Bank.

Funeral service will be held on Thursday March 30, 2023 at 11am in the funeral home chapel which will be livestreamed on the funeral home Facebook page. To access the livestream, CLICK HERE 5 minutes prior to the service. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 9am to 11am at LESSARD-STEPHENS Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Timmins Memorial Cemetery. Donations can be made in Harvey’s memory to Extendicare Timmins or the Timmins and District Hospital Hospice.
