Cherished grandmother to Jennifer Lauzon, Joel Phillips, MacKenzie Dewsbury, Katrina Lauzon, Carrington Lauzon, Kim Valcourt and Chantal Paré. She leaves behind her sister Claudette Cashabec (late Mike), her brother Leo Duciaume (Estelle), her sister-in-law Emilie Duciaume, her sisters-in-law Thérèse (late Robert Lauzon) and Lola (late J.P. Joanisse), as well as many nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by her brother Laurier Duciaume, her brothers-in-law Albert (late Bertha), Wilbrod (Janet), her parents Aurèle and Laura Duciaume, her parents-in-law Nelson and Lovina Lauzon as well as Daisy her much-loved fur baby.

Once we were old enough, our mother worked in retail. She worked at Records on Wheels, the Garden Centre and Yard Goods Department at Woolworth’s. When we were young, there was not a lot of money, so our mother took sewing classes and made all our clothing. Our mother took a lot of classes during her lifetime and was very crafty. As adults, our mother continued to take care of us by making us food that she knew we liked, hemming our clothes, calling us about grocery “specials”, buying us organic eggs and reminding us about such things as yearly house maintenance. She was very passionate about her yard and had very beautiful flowers. We will for sure miss you Mom (Mommy) and love you big time.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday June 8, 2022 at 1pm at LESSARD-STEPHENS Funeral Home Chapel. A reception will follow at the Lessard-Stephens Reception Center. Remembrance donations to Make A Wish Canada (Children’s Wish Foundation) would be greatly appreciated. Online condolences and donations can be made at www.lessardstephens.com
