Obituary for Jacqueline (Jackie) Mair

It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Jackie Mair on November 6th, 2022. She passed peacefully with family by her side after a very brief battle with cancer. She is survived by her loving husband Jim Mair and children Celine (Dan) Demontigny, Craig Berlingeri, Stephanie Stefanic (Dan Vincent), Shannan (Jeff) DelGuidice and Ryan Mair (Meghan Jensen). Her pride and joy were her grandchildren Damon, Carly, Nathan, Mason, Suri, Brendan (Pascale), TJ , Grace, Ella and Rory. She will be dearly missed by her loving siblings Lucille (Ron) Moisan, Mireille (Cid) Samson, Jean Claude (Janice) Larouche, Sue (Ed) Guindon, Lil Tasanko (Louis Bortolotti), Michelle (Maurice) Bertrand, Claudette (Ron) Pichette and Rosie Collins (Kevin). She is also survived by an abundance of loving nieces and nephews.

She is predeceased by her parents Antoinette and Gabriel Larouche, her grandson Travis Brett Stefanic, son-in-law Jeffrey Stefanic, her sisters Rachelle (Late Conrad) Beauchamp and Linda Larouche, her nieces Riley-Anne Larouche and Lisa Moisan, and her nephews Kenneth Beauchamp and Ron Pichette.

Jackie was loved and will be missed by many friends and family. Her kindness towards others and love for her family will not be forgotten. Our family wishes to express our heartfelt appreciation for the kindness and excellent care our mother received during her short battle with cancer. Of course we are saddened but comforted knowing she received the best care available.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday November 9, 2022 from 7-9 p.m. at LESSARD-STEPHENS Funeral Home. Memorial service will be held on Thursday at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel.
