Obituary for Jean-Claude Savard
It is with heavy hearts that the family announces the sudden passing of Claude Savard on Thursday June 30th, 2022 at his home at the age of 75.
He is predeceased by his wife Helena (Blakely) Savard in 2015 with whom he was married for 50 years.
Proud father of Jamie and Luke (Chris Ann). Cherished Pepe of Justin, Byron, Donovan, Jordan, Nathan, and Odin.
Dear brother of Beverly (Jatna) Klees, Diane (late George) Lacroix, and Janet (Emile) Savage. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
He is also predeceased by his children, Suzanne and Donald, his mother Therese (Savard) Bazinet, his siblings, JoAnn, Linda, Gail and Patrick, his mother-in-law Margaret Blakely, and his brothers-in-law, Larry, Robert and Roger Blakely.
Claude was a long-time employee for McChesney Lumber for 49 years.
Respecting his wishes, cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will take place on Wednesday July 6th, from 2-4 p.m. in the LESSARD-STEPHENS Reception Centre.
