It is with great sorrow that the family announces her passing on Friday, October 28, 2022 at the Timmins and District Hospital at the age of 50 years. Loving mother of Mayson and Trevor. Cherished grandmother of Tanner. Dear sister of Jack (Vivian), Joe, Diane (Yves) and Henry. She will be greatly missed by her nieces and nephews Tina, JJ, Reggie, Ashley, Cory, Jacob and Henry jr., as well as by her great nieces and nephew Kendrick, Carlie, Mikeala and by her fur babies Charger and Bébé. Joanne leaves behind the father of her children Stacy Brunette. She is predeceased by her parents Leon Zotique Lacourciere and Lillian Vera (Legard) Lacourciere.
Joanne’s spirit name was Red Hand. She loved being in nature. She had a great sense of humor, was very funny and had a unique laugh. She was a selfless person, always putting others first.
The family will receive friends on Friday November 4, 2022 from 1-3 p.m. at the LESSARD-STEPHENS Funeral Home. A reception in the LESSARD-STEPHENS Reception Centre will follow from 3:30 p.m. to
5 p.m. Online donations to the Canadian Mental Health Association would be greatly appreciated.
