Obituary for Murielle Godmaire (Roy)
The family announces with sorrow the passing of Murielle Godmaire on Sunday, March 6, 2022, at Health Sciences North in Sudbury at the age of 68 years. Beloved wife of Michel Godmaire. Loving mother of Jonathan Laviolette and devoted stepmother to Isabelle Godmaire (Marc Lafond) and Eric Godmaire. Cherished grandmother to Sarah-Lynn Labranche (Draven Johnson), Kiana Labranche (Jordi Walker), Maya Gagnon, Logan Gagnon and Alianna.
She is survived by her siblings Laurent Roy, Ross Roy (Diane), Monique Roy, Lorraine (Mike Charette) and Jacqueline Roy (René Malette), as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. She is also survived by her brothers-in-law Gilles Godmaire and Daniel Godmaire (Ginette). Predeceased by her parents Arthur and Angeline Roy, and her siblings Guy Roy, Flo Roy, Raoul Roy, and Andy Roy.
The family would like to thank the doctors and the nursing staff at HSN in Sudbury as well as Dr. Cano and Dr. Asai for their dedicated care. Respecting her wishes, cremation will take place. A celebration of life will be held at later date. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to LESSARD-STEPHENS Funeral Home. Remembrance donations to the Northern Cancer Research Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
