The family announces with sorrow his death on Friday January 14, 2022 at the Timmins and District Hospital at the age of 69.
Loving husband of Suzanne (nee Gauthier). Dear father of Shane (Leslie) of Battleford, SK and Patricia of Timmins. Loving grandfather of Jolie. Dear brother of Bob (late Lorraine) of Winnipeg, MN, Mike (Joanne) of Timmins, Theresa (late Richard) Madore of Schumacher, and sister-in-law Brenda Ely. Also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
Predeceased by his father Daniel, his mother Anita (nee Rochon), his brother Guy, his mother-in-law Bertha McNab, his brothers-in-law Robert Gauthier and Jim Gauthier, and his sister-in-law Anne Madore (Roger).
Rejean was a longstanding member of Schumacher Lions Club. He worked many years as a mining technician, specializing in the explosive industry.
Cremation has taken place. A service will be held at a later date. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to LESSARD-STEPHENS FUNERAL HOME. Remembrance donations to the Schumacher Lions Club or the Timmins and District Hospital – Dialysis Unit would be greatly appreciated.
The family of the late Mr. Rejean “Reg” Malo would like to extend an invitation to friends and family to join them for a graveside service to be held on Monday, July 4, 2022, at 11 a.m. at the Timmins Memorial Cemetery, Columbarium #8. A luncheon will follow at the St-Dominique Church Hall.
