Obituary for Rheal Larocque
It is with great sorrow that the family announces his peaceful passing on Saturday, May 28, 2022 at Health Sciences North at the age of 84 years, surrounded by his family.
Beloved husband to Nora Larocque (nee Cavallin). Loving father to Gerry (Debbie), Robert (Lisa), Tracy (Dave), Cathy and Jack (Renee). Dear grandfather to Darryl, Craig, Brittney, Hunter, Gabrièle, Maari, Matthew, Jérôme and Sébastien. Great grandfather to Carter and Charlotte.
He leaves behind his sister Alberte Lambert (Oscar). He is predeceased by his siblings Rolande Levesque, Jeannette, Lionel, Jean-Paul, René, Maurice and Jacques.
Rheal was a proud man who had an incredibly strong work ethic. He loved to work in his garden and enjoyed shovelling snow. His happy place was to be in the bush cutting down birch trees for his wood stove...and at 3 p.m., you would find him sitting in his chair watching his favourite soap opera, The Young and the Restless.
The family would like to thank the Timmins & District Hospital and Dr. Wilson for their quick action taken. Special thank you to Dr. Nalla, Dr. Kyle, as well as his nurses Suzette, Amanda, Annie, Tina and his night nurses at Health Sciences North in Sudbury for their exemplary care.
