On Tuesday April 5th, 2022, Rita peacefully passed away at 89 years old. She was the dear mother of Sandra (partner Jonathan) and very proud Nonna to Gio. She is also survived by her brother Joe Treco. Predeceased by her husband Sandy in 2011. Together they operated Pizzale Gardens and had a “Blooming Business” for many years. Rita had a big heart and has touched so many with her generosity and thoughtfulness. Rest in peace – you’ve earned your wings. Thank you to the staff at Timmins and District Hospital for the wonderful and compassionate care she received. Entombment has taken place at the Timmins Memorial Cemetery. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted with Lessard-Stephens Funeral Home. If desired, donations to the Timmins and District Hospital – Hospice in Rita’s memory would be greatly appreciated by the family.
