Obituary for Robert Patry
It is with saddened hearts that we announce the sudden death of Robert (Bob) Patry at St. Mary’s Gardens on Wednesday April 12, 2023 at the age of 78.
Predeceased by his loving spouse Carolyn Patry (née Murley) (2007) and his son Micheal “Mike” Patry (2017).
He is survived by his sister Lucy Del Guidice (Peter).
Robert leaves behind his beloved fiancée, Silene Damini.
Loving father of Marc Patry (Rhodora) and Donald Patry, both of Montreal. (Mother Marie-Claire Hills (late William “ Bill”) from Timmins)
Dear stepfather of Timm Jodouin (David) of Timmins and Lisa Jodouin(Bernie) of St. Catharines.
Dear grandfather of Wyatt, Robbie, Logan and Scarlett (and her mother Erin), step-grandfather of Arron and Kira, and step-great grandfather of Dakota and Sierra.
He is also survived by his niece, Paula(Marc), great-niece Sidney and nephew Jason, all of Timmins. He is also predeceased by his father Albert “Bert” Patry and Marie-Emma Patry (née Chalifoux).
The family would like to thank the staff of St.Mary’s Gardens for their kindness and good care during his stay. He will surely be missed by the residents and staff at St. Mary’s Gardens.
Thanks to his late son Mike, who was the local promoter for wrestling events in Timmins, Bob attended each event, proudly video taping each match. He always looked forward to these events with great enthusiasm.
Robert was a proud Moose Lodge member and governor for many years.
Funeral service will be held on Wednesday April 19, 2023 at 11am in the funeral home chapel with Fr. John Lemire officiating. Interment will follow at Timmins Memorial Cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 7-9 pm at LESSARD-STEPHENS FUNERAL HOME.
Remembrance donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Diabetes Association would be greatly appreciated.
