It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Yvain Bouchard on Monday, November 7th, 2022, at the age of 72 years. He will be deeply missed by his beloved wife Jacqueline. Loving father of Roger Bouchard (Ruth), and stepfather of Sabrina Nemis (Ryan Hobbs) and Jillian Nemis (Fred Piquette). Cherished grandfather of Ian and Cory. Dear brother of Roger (Gisèle), Ghislaine (Jean-Guy), Nicole (Paul), Rheal (Lucie) and Marcel (Darlene). Best friend and brother-in-law to Fern and Gene. He also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews. Yvain is predeceased by his first wife Florence, his brothers Paul-Yvon and Claude, his parents George and Marie-Blanche and by many others he cared for dearly. The family would like to thank the staff on the surgical floor at the Timmins and District Hospital and a special thank you to Dr. Fung for their care and support.

Respecting his wishes, cremation will take place. A memorial service will be held on Saturday November 12, 2022, at 12 pm (noon) in the chapel. A reception will follow in the Lessard-Stephens Reception Centre. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 10am to 11:45am at LESSARD-STEPHENS Funeral Home. Remembrance donations made to the Timmins and District Hospital Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
