Obituary for Yves Lefebvre
The family announces with sorrow his death on Wednesday February 16, 2022 at the Timmins and District Hospital at the age of 73.
Loving husband of Aline Lefebvre. Dear father of Alain (Lise) Lefebvre and Daniel Lefebvre, and stepfather of Joanne (Tim) Parrow. Cherished grandfather of Tina, Amy, Lexy and Branden Lefebvre and Luc Parrow. Also survived by his brother Roger (Kathy) Lefebvre, his sister-in-law Carmelle Lefebvre, many wonderful nieces and nephews, his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law René (Donna) Ladouceur, Donald (Claire) Pelletier, Donald (Michelle) Ladouceur, Huguette Shorthouse and Laurie Chisolm, as well as his special friends Paul Hamelin, Padoue, Tom Vine, Larry Brennan, John Cechini, and many more.
Predeceased by his parents Paul and Lucille Lefebvre, his sister Georgette (Laurier) Bélair, and his brothers Jean-Claude (Yolande), Raoul, Guy (Lucille), Gilles, Alex (Pierrette), and Léo (Gisèle).
Yves worked at Kidd Creek for 35 years. He enjoyed tinkering in his garage. He was an avid fisherman and hunter. He always enjoyed a good laugh.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday February 19, 2022 at 1 p.m. at St Dominique church. Masks and physical distancing will be in place. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to LESSARD-STEPHENS Funeral Home. Remembrance donations to the Timmins and District Hospital Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
