Obituary for Yvonne Szpara (Bernard)
The family announces with great sorrow her passing on Monday, August 22, 2022 at the Timmins and District Hospital at the age of 82.
Dear wife of 58 years to Mitchell Leo Szpara. Loving mother of Gerianne Szpara of Timmins and David (April) Szpara of Fort Frances, ON; dear grandmother of Jodi Szpara. She is survived by her sisters Marguerite (Willie) Dubeau of Timmins and Marie-Anne Bernard of Sudbury, her brother Andy (Georgette) Bernard of Elliot Lake, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Yvonne is predeceased by her sister Thérèse Bernard, her brother Paul Bernard (Donna), her parents Cécile (nee Brien) and Delias Bernard, and her brother-in-law and sister-in-law Ted and Jose Szpara.
In loving memory of an amazing mother and wife who was a blessing to everyone in her life and for anyone who met her. She loved God with all her might and all her heart.
Cremation has taken place. Interment of her cremated remains will be held on Wednesday August 31st, 2022 at 1pm at the Timmins Memorial Cemetery.
