Condolence: I knew Gordy when I was growing up on the Backroad to Timmins-South End in the 60s.I hung out with Bruce & Ken a bit,I rode the school bus with Gordy and the Elliot family in those precious years. Gordy was quite the character,in a good way!

Condolence: I am truly saddened to learn of Gordie's death and the suffering he went through prior to it. I first met Gordie over 47 years ago along with his grandmother. Over the years our friendship developed and grew, so that I valued him as a close and true personal friend. We had many coffees, conversations and times together. He had a remarkable memory for dates like birthdays and anniversaries. His years with Tammy brought him love, happiness and stability. I am so glad they found each other. I shall truly miss my good friend. I am so sorry I live so far away that I cannot be with you to share in your grief. Be assured that my thoughts and prayers are with you.
