Obituary for Irma Marie Kelley (Schwartz)
The family announces with great sorrow the passing of Irma Marie Kelley at the age of 95. Predeceased by husband David, and by sisters Rhoda, Marie, and Flora. She will be sadly missed by sisters Mona and Annette and brothers Tony and John. Cherished mother of Donna (J.C.Larabie), Deborah (Mike Lafond), Barry (Andree) and Sherry. Also sadly missed by her dear grandchildren Raina (Jim Demers), Mikey, Jason (Jamie), and Lisa (Mathieu). She also leaves behind two great-grandchildren Lukas and Ella.
Irma loved gardening and baking, and extended visits to her birthplace in the Ottawa Valley. Irma worked for the Timmins Public School Board for many years until she retired in 1986. She enjoyed a great many years of good health and remained remarkably clear-headed for all of her 95 years. As per her request, there is no visitation. She will be cremated and a service will be held at a later date when she is laid to rest near her home in Ladysmith, Quebec.
