The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Garfield Jackson can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence: Well, Gar,it was 60 years ago that I met you as a pick-up hockey player for the Pinecrest team that travelled to North Bay to represent the City. We eventually met often because we were neighbours for many years. You and Lynn were great friends.It was a treat to talk with you at Christmas while you were out with your buddy and we were visiting the Orlando's on Maple Street. You were a typical Jackson--faithful and committed and you were so courageous with your health battles. Anne and I were blessed to have known you, Gar!
