Obituary for Léonce Froment
The family announces with sorrow his passing at the Timmins and District Hospital on Tuesday June 27, 2017, at the age of 81.
Beloved husband of 59 years to Murielle Froment (née Ethier).
Loving father of Diane Dorion (Gerald) of Timmins and Daniel Froment (Maria Boccardi) of Scarborough.
Dear grandfather of Christine Dorion (Peter), Anne Tigh (Justin), Kim Lemieux (Richard), Alyssa Froment and Julia Froment.
Great-grandfather of Bryson, Katelyn and Liam.
Dear brother of Alvana Rivest (late Richard) of Mascouche, QC.
Predeceased by his parents Alcide and Eva Froment and by his sister Hattie Latendresse and his brothers Edmond Froment and Clarence Froment.
Mr. Froment was a Member of the Knights of Columbus 4th Degree. Throughout his working life, he spent many years working in the lumber industry and enjoyed being car #14 for Vets Taxi.
A funeral service will be held at 11 am on Tuesday July 4, 2017 at Paroisse St-Dominique.
The family will receive friends on Monday July 3 from 7-9 pm at
Lessard-Stephens Funeral Home
