Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Normand Bernier can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Normand Bernier
The family announces with sorrow his death on Thursday June 29, 2017 at home at the age of 78. Survived by his loving wife Gloria (nee Harris), his children Steven Bernier of Fonthill, ON, and David Bernier (Angie) of Timmins; his grandchildren Evan, Sarah, William and Fiona. Dear brother of Cecile MacJanet (George) of Timmins, Carmen Larche (Lou) of Timmins and Gerald Bernier of Windsor. Predeceased by his parents Rosaire and Fernande Bernier, and by his sister Pierrette Larche. Normand worked at Kidd Creek Mine the majority of his career. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and bowling in his younger years. He also loved the Boston Bruins. The family would like to thank the Timmins Emergency Services for their professionalism. A memorial reception will be held on Monday July 3, 2017 from 12 (noon) – 2 p.m. at the
LESSARD-STEPHENS RECEPTION CENTRE
