Obituary for Cornelius (Neil) Hedican
The family announces with sorrow his passing on Sunday December 17, 2017, at the Timmins and District Hospital.
Predeceased by his beloved wife Joan (Brotherston) in 1998.
Loving father of Derek (Laura), Darla Lundstrom (late Cress), Colleen Smithers (Richard), Kevin Hedican (Beverly), Nadine (John Hudson) and Angela Petroski (Barry Jr.).
Dear grandfather of 12 and great-grandfather of 8.
Dear brother of the late Mary Audet (late Joe), Marcella Kean (late Jack), late Laurence (surviving spouse Phyllis), late John (surviving spouse Kathleen), late Gerald (surviving spouse Colleen) and Lorraine Mateja (Joe). Survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by his parents Thomas and Annie (nee McGrath), grandson Nicholas in 1996, Great-grandson Destin in 2008 and nephew Laurence Kean.
The family would like to thank Beverly, Krista and Jeff, as well as hospice nurses Johnna and Chrissi, for their compassion and care.
A celebration of life and a graveside service will be held in the summer of 2018.
Donations made to the Timmins and District Hospital Hospice will be greatly appreciated.
